Bail for these charges was set at a total of $71,500 and Armando B. was booked into the El Paso County Detention Center.

However, a criminal jail magistrate reduced Armando B.’s bond to $41,500 on Saturday, Dec. 30, despite his “extensive arrest history,” according to the sheriff’s office.

Armando B. On Sunday, December 31, he posted his bail and was released from jail.

Throughout 2023, Armando B. was arrested 27 times and the majority of his arrests were related to property crimes, aggravated assault, weapons and drug offenses, the Sheriff’s Office says.

“Despite Armando B.’s extensive criminal history, he has been granted a personal recognizance bond and has had his bond reduced on multiple occasions,” the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said.
