Elizabeth Olsen’s Greatest Red Herring from WandaVision Reported Back in ‘Agatha: The Darkhold Diaries’
When Evan Peters his X Men Elizabeth Olsen’s role in A Strange Turn of Events Wandavision, fans were initially thrilled and actually surprised. However, their excitement quickly turned to disappointment after learning that Peters was playing the role of actor and Westview resident Ralph Bohner. According to recent reports, Peters is all set to return to this Wandavision blow up, Agatha: The Darkhold Diaries.
The report also makes some references to Peters’ character, suggesting that Ralph Bohner will be portrayed as traumatized after escaping both Wanda’s hex and Agatha’s dark spell. The new series will explore Kathryn Hahn’s villainous character from Jack Shaffer’s miniseries.

The news sparked mixed reactions among fans, especially given Elizabeth Olsen’s mixed feelings about the storyline involving Peters’ character in the miniseries. Fans were given hope that Peters could be a perennial variant of his Foxverse character Quicksilver. However, at the end of the series, Monica Rambeau discovers his ‘true’ identity, freeing him from Agatha’s dark magic.
Things will get even more complicated (or interesting, hopefully!), as a recently released deleted scene from the show discusses another course of events. In this scene, Peters’ character is shown removing an ankle bracelet, hinting that he may be a missing person from Jimmy Woo’s Witness Protection Program case. If that’s the case, Peters might not be Ralph Boehner after all.
This deleted scene alone has sparked some interest among fans to see what happens next for the character. Fans have various theories, from the Quicksilver variant theory to the possibility of Agatha becoming an ally in the next series. Interestingly, rumors also suggest that Peters will reprise his role as Quicksilver in the upcoming film. Deadpool 3.

In the series, Hahn’s character embarks on a quest to regain his powers after falling under Elizabeth Olsen’s spell. Scooper wondered how Marvel allowed the series to make such bold, creative choices. They also added that the fans were for many “Surprising Choices” And “The Dark Turn”.

The series will introduce new characters like Aubrey Plaza’s villain Rio Vidal and Joe Locke’s Billy Kaplan. Debra Jo Rupp will reprise her role from the previous series. Additionally, Patti LuPone, Sasher Zamata, Ali Ahn and Miles Gutierrez-Riley will play pivotal roles in the series. The series wrapped filming in May 2023 and will be released on Disney+ in late 2024.
