LEGO Fortnite players are sharing their hard work breakdowns and devastating moments
LEGO Fortnite players are having some trouble with their creations and flying vehicles crashing and burning after all the hard work they put into them — and they caught it all on video for Reddit to see.
Several players took to the LEGO Fortnite subreddit over the weekend to post videos capturing the moments their craft was headed for disaster. To wit, u/OkaNitsuki shared a clip of them jumping out of the plane as it was falling apart just as they were flying over the island.
Meanwhile, u/Elibenz936 explodes while driving his rocket car on a long metal platform floating above the ground. “Was working great for a while… and then pop,” they said in response to another Redditor who said the video broke their heart. “Alas, this is the life of dynamic travel methods, if it’s not broken yet, it looks like it will be at some point.”
Another Redditor, u/Cafenn94, literally brought the house down when they allegedly tried to ax the stairwell for parts only to have the roof and everything else collapse on their avatar.
While it’s easy to blame the game itself for the problems players faced, some blamed their in-game disasters on poor planning on their part. When asked why he jumped out of his plane, Okanitsuki said, “At that point in the build I was so mad that the previous stages had been such a disaster, this one was working so flawlessly that when I saw the steering device die, Then I thought. My head was like, ‘Yes, it’s time for me to face the same fate as this vehicle atrocity.'”
Elibenz936 suggested that the devs “maybe make dynamic/toy objects indestructible unless attacked by the player or an enemy. Hope they improve this in future.”
