Poor creatures had started in the first place In the French weekly rankings last week, but lost the throne with the arrivalA roll of the dice. Yvan Ettel’s thriller, directed by Guillaume Canet among others, was seen by 221,196 entrants, compared to 130,129 for Yorgos Lanthimos’ film. That still amassed 316,697 entries in two weeks. It should be noted that the French film is available in 560 cinemas compared to 278 for its American competitor.

Todd Haynes’ film with Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore drew 118,770 viewers in 207 theaters, compared to its previews, the rom-com with Sidney Sweeney and Glenn Powell, 99,314 in four more theaters, and the film with Agnes Jouy on just 651,614 screens.
