More than 5 years after its release, Rockstar Games’ open-world western game has revealed never-before-seen sequences set in the camp of Dutch van der Linde’s gang.
Featuring incredibly rich content – according to the HowLongToBeat site, it takes more than 180 hours to get through – Red Dead Redemption 2is one of the most important titles of recent years. The Rockstar Games juggernaut, which is still considered by many to be the most detailed game ever made, boasts another staggering statistic. 500,000 lines of dialogue, 300,000 animations… to name but a few.

Cut scenes, a great video game classic
although, RDR 2 A title like any other, in the sense that the game doesn’t quite look like what it could be: we’re talking about cut content here. While the most famous of them – such as the Loch Ness Monster or the giant grizzlies in the region – have been widely documented by players, there are more obscure sequences that have been dismissed despite their relevance.
The most surprising thing is that these cutscenes concern… the camp of Dutch van der Linde’s gang, i.e. the place where the player – by Arthur Morgan – spends most of the time and where there is usually always something going on. . While most of the deleted interactions are benign, the interactions between Bill Williamson and Charles Smith really aren’t..
A funny and action packed scene was removed from the game
Given Charles Smith’s ethnicity (he is half Native American and half black) and Bill Williamson’s past in the American military as key figures in the gang, the two characters do not particularly like each other. However, apart from a scene in Chapter 6 where the two encounter each other, there is no direct contact between them.
But that was before YouTuber Nestan updated — via a Mod – A sequence where Charles Smith punches Bill Williamson in the face, after the latter insulted him and tricked him. An unprecedented scene and never seen before, although the audio of the meeting was heard.
Hopefully, we’ll soon see the sequence where Josiah humiliates Micah Bell with Trello’s magic trick.
