Fans are turning them on for some absurd reason, you won’t believe your eyes!
Fortnite received LEGO mode in early December 2023 with new modes, maps, weapons and more. LEGO Fortnite mode offers players an open world to explore with building, crafting and survival elements. The mod quickly became successful and broke new records for player numbers. The LEGO Fortnite mod has peaked at nearly 2.5 million players less than four days after its release. LEGO mode has been popular among gamers since its inception, but players have now turned against it for a ridiculous reason that will surprise many.
Fans are targeting LEGO Fortnite because of skins in the item shop. Fortnite players blame LEGO mod for ruining item shop. This season’s item shop has been the subject of much discussion and debate among players, who believe that Epic has ruined the item shop with LEGO variants.
A Fortnite player and Redditor named Skull-OWar spoke on the FortNiteBR subreddit that the LEGO Fortnite mod has “single-handedly killed the item shop” so far this season. The user mentioned that the skins that come in the item shop are only available in the LEGO versions and accused Epic Games of being tied to LEGO, thus preventing it from offering other skins.
Several players joined the discussion and agreed with the user’s comments. Some players believe that the Fortnite LEGO collaboration is preventing Epic from releasing new skins. They also believe that Epic Games is just looking for a quick win with these skins and this may continue until the Fortnite community stops buying them.
While most players complain about this, some players think differently. A Reddit user named HereToKillEuronymous added that Epic has two other game modes to deal with besides LEGO, so the developers have their hands full.
Some players are wondering why there are still no actual LEGO Fortnite sets. However, everyone has their own priorities.
