Infinite Rocket Launcher: How to Get It
In the Resident Evil saga it is usual that we can use weapons with infinite ammunition. Basically they help us to complete some achievements and trophies related to the time it takes to complete the adventure (the speedrun phenomenon).
Resident Evil 4 Remake does not escape this tradition. The new version of survival horror includes a brutal weapon that you will want to get your hands on: the infinity rocket launcher.
The truth is that during your first game you can also get the standard rocket launcher. In this model the ammunition is not infinite, but it is just as lethal as its infinite partner.
The normal rocket launcher costs 80,000 pesetas, and you can buy it from the Peddler on your first visit to Resident Evil 4 Remake. But how do you get the infinite rocket launcher?
For this it is necessary to pass the game at least once. Upon completing the story in normal mode, you will have unlocked the Professional mode and the New Game+.
Basically, Professional mode It’s harder than your first game. Although, yes, it allows you to keep all the weapons you already had before. In any case, it is not necessary to use that difficulty for what we are telling you now. What you have to do is, from the main menu, press Load Game and choose the one that is marked in green to indicate the completed campaign.
Once there, we choose difficulty (it can be Normal, no problem) and start playing from the beginning.
In your second game (either in Professional mode or any other difficulty), Leon will meet the Peddler when he jumps out the window of the first house in town. This merchant was not there in your first game.
If you talk to him, you will see that in his list of items is the precious infinite rocket launcher. It costs a whopping 2,000,000 pesetas (2 million)but you will not have any ammunition problem.
