A Chinese manufacturer repurposes Alder Lake-H CPUs in desktop motherboards
The Chinese manufacturer is erying, who usually designs motherboards in that country. In an interesting initiative, the manufacturer has decided to use the processors Alder Lake-HLike the Core i7-12700H, Core i5-12650H, Core i5-12500H, and Core i5-12450H to add them to mATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, so desktop computers can be built with these processors that were not originally designed for this purpose but for laptops.
These processors represent the generation Intel Core 12th Genalso known as Alder Lake, which are still powerful for any task, even for gaming. The four mentioned processors offer 8 to 14 cores in 45W base and 95W MTP packages.

The processors were soldered to the motherboards under an IHS. Of course, it is possible to use any cooler compatible with the LGA 1700 socket, even though there is no socket here. Once you buy this motherboard with the processor it is no longer possible to do any CPU upgrade.
