During Game Developers Conference 2023, Xbox shared news about the (email protected) program and announced the (email protected) Developer Acceleration Program.
- GDC 2023: Review of 10 years of (email protected)
- (email protected) has paid more than 4 billion dollars independent developers since the program’s inception in 2013.
- More than 3000 titles are in active development by independent developers on Xbox.
- More than 5000 developers from 100 countries currently participating in the program (email protected)
- More than 700 creators have enrolled in the program (email protected) in the last year (February 2022 – February 2023).
- Introducing the (email protected) Developer Acceleration Program
- Xbox has announced the (email protected) Developer Acceleration Program to empower underrepresented creators with the resources and information they need to reach more people and bring their games to Xbox.
- The team has been allocating funds to the program and has so far helped 100 start-up and indie developers bring their games to Xbox.
