Teamfight Tactics 13.5 Release Notes | #Games #Esports | News of Anime, Manga and Videogames

LATAM, March 15, 2023. Patch 13.5 prepares us for the mid-set update and comes loaded with a host of changes to the functionality system with improvements to item distribution and Hero Augments. On the other hand, good news for cross-platform strategists: Team Planner, a popular mobile feature coming to PC, will be implemented.

Object Distribution Updates

With these changes, we’ve adjusted the way items are distributed to players with the goal of being more consistent across players in a match, while still having unique variants per game. The reason for this update is because this system has been around for a long time, with only minor numerical adjustments, but over time it became more apparent that a useful change for competitive and high ranks was needed.

With this change the loot value between players will now be more balanced to increase fairness, while maintaining a certain level of variety. Everyone in the room will now get roughly the same value of bonus orbs. If they get fewer items (maximum one or two) they will be compensated with additional orbs much more fairly than before. Additionally, you will always get an extra orb in Stage 1-2, so you should have enough gold to buy your store in Stage 1-3 and make more informed decisions in the early game.

Hero Augment Distribution

Increased clarity, simplicity, and accuracy of Hero Augment distribution so you get the most out of your 4 Hero Augment upgrades. These changes were made because when the system was released, it was vague enough that its weaknesses weren’t as visible, and by introducing the four-upgrade option, the bugs were more apparent.

The fixes were mainly around how certain Augments were offered in patch 13.4. including Samira’s Support Augment and Augments for both Sona and Janna. On the other hand, in Custom Boosts, they revised the new system: Stage 2-1 will still offer all random Hero Boosts, but Stages 3-2 and 4-2 are now customized in a way that should make a lot more sense. First, the third slot will no longer only offer Support Raises and the more Hero Raises active they have, the less random Raises they will get.
