CoD Warzone 2.0 Season 2 Reloaded: When it starts, start time and main news – Call of Duty: Warzone 2

Here’s all the known facts about the mid-season update of the popular Call of Duty battle royale.

A few weeks ago, Season 2 of CoD Warzone 2 was released. It introduced a wide variety of contentamong which stands out the new map of Ashika Island, the wide repertoire of new weapons or the challenges of the Path of Ronin, which allow us to obtain the crossbow. With all this, the mid-season update, reloadedis getting closer, although the company has not yet ruled on when does it start. Having clarified this, we will provide you with all the data we currently have, both confirmed as rumored. It should be noted that this entry will be gradually updated as we learn more news.

Additionally, if you want to know more information about the title, remember that you can consult our Warzone 2 analysis, written by our colleague Abelardo González.

Warzone 2.0 Season 2 Reloaded: release date

Although we still don’t have an official announcement from Activision-Blizzard, we can make a pretty close approximation based on the results. Remaining days for the battle pass to end. The date on which Season 1 Reloaded premiered will also serve as a reference.

As we explained in our other entry on when season 3 will be released, the deadline on which the current pass will expire is located in the April 11, 2023. With this in mind, the Reloaded update should be released very soon, around Wednesday March 15, 2023.

If this is the case, the patch should be available from 18:00 of the same day (peninsular time).

Season 2 Reloaded will include the ‘Tempus Torrent’ rifle

The presence of a new weapon, specifically a rifle, is confirmed. Its about ‘Tempus Torrent’which was announced as part of season 2. However, it was specified that it would arrive in the middle of it, so we can assume that Reloaded will add this new weapon to our arsenal.

No further information has been released about this rifle or how it will be unlocked. According to certain lucubrations, it seems to be based on the SR-25a semi-automatic sniper rifle.

The Bomb Drone Killstreak will no longer be available

According to a statement published by the official Raven Software account on its twitter, the losing streak of the bomb drone will be disabled in battle royale Warzone 2. This is due, as reflected in their statements, to the need to have a greater timeframe to find a better balance.

All squad sizes on Ashika Island

With the inclusion of the Ashika Island map in this second season, the community has received ‘one of lime and one of sand’. While the Resurgence game mode has been widely applauded and well received, the limitation of not being able to freely choose what size of squad you want when starting a game has been criticized a lot.

The arrival of the individual mode in Ashika Island managed to alleviate the discontent a bit, but it did not correct the root problem: the player is conditioned that the your squad size whatever is playing at the time in the rotation. Fortunately, we will be able to say goodbye to this restriction in Season 2 Reloaded. Players will be able to choose freely what size they want, although, for the moment, this change will not be permanent. In the company’s words, it will be available until the end of the second season, so it seems likely that, unless the developers change their minds, it will return to the usual rotation in the third season.

The KV Broadside shotgun will receive a nerf

It seemed pretty obvious, but we already have an official confirmation: the shotgun KV Broadside will receive a ‘nerf’ in Season 2 Reloaded. This was stated by Infinity Ward in his official twitter account.

The shotgun KV Broadside will receive a damage reduction, but very possibly it will not be the only one. We will know this once the patch notes, which will be published the same day the season is released; that is, the day March, 15th.
