Fans of Chivas and Pumas are withdrawn for acts of violence

A new act of violence was recorded this Sunday in Liga MX, after some fans of the Chivas Rayadas de Guadalajara and the Pumas de la UNAM, were removed from the stands of the Akron Stadium, during the match corresponding to the Repechage of the Closing Tournament 2022.

According to the first reports, the incident arose after the equalizing goal of the university students, and after the violent acts were carried out, Akron Stadium security personnel proceeded to remove the fans involved.

Through social networks, TUDN shared a video where it can be seen how the fans involved in the outburst were evicted, and according to the media itself, there are a total of 6 fans, 2 from Chivas and 4 from the Pumas.

At the moment, the Repechage match is tied at one goal, after goals by Cristian Calderón for Chivas, and Diogo De Oliveira for Pumas.

In the event that Chivas advances, they will face the Rojinegros del Atlas, while if the Pumas qualify for the Quarterfinals, they will face the Tuzos de Pachuca.
