Britney Spears settles accounts with fans and her family: “Kiss me…”
Since her nervous breakdown in 2008, ex-pop star Britney Spears has been under her father’s guardianship.. The 39-year-old is taking action against this in court and is trying to regain her right to self-determination.
Now Britney has suddenly spoken out with a series of Instagram posts. In these, she also attacks her fans and parts of her family with surprisingly clear words.
A photo Spears uploaded to her Instagram channel was a picture that read: “Take me as I am or kiss my ass, eat shit and step on Legos!”
Harsh words from the former child star, who also opposes offensive comments on Instagram. The singer had recently posted on the social media platform some video clips with dance steps from her living room.
“To those who choose to criticize my dance videos… It’s that I’m not going to perform on any stages in the near future – with my father determining what I wear, saying, doing or thinking,” Spears wrote on Saturday.
She wouldn’t be able to put on a lot of make-up again and rehearse on stage without being allowed to incorporate her own remixes or new music into the shows..
Spears had fought in vain for a long period of time, “for my fans”. But all the begging was in vain, so she stopped. Britney also shoots against her sister in the text, which sounds like a general reckoning. “I don’t like my sister performing at an award show and singing my songs as remixes.”
With the younger sister of the former superstar, Jamie Lynn Spears (30), Britney hints at a deeper rift: “There is nothing worse than the people who are closest to you but who have never been there for you, post things about your situation, whatever it may be, and speak righteously about their support. There’s nothing worse than that,” the pop star said.
This probably also means a post by Britney mom Lynn. She had previously posted a quote from the Gospel of John. in which it says: “The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not seized it.”
But Britney Spears does not want to give up her hope for a happy ending. Even if the dispute in court is exhausting. “All I have is hope and hope is the only one in this world that is very hard to kill, even if people are still trying.”
The pop singer also comments on various documentaries that deal with her rise to absolute superstar status and her subsequent descent. Most recently, the documentary “Framing Britney Spears” had caused a stir.
“I didn’t like how they picked up on humiliating moments from the past, as I’ve had all this behind me for a long time.”
At the end of the text, Spears once again addresses her critics clearly and with all clarity. “If you don’t want to see my precious ass dancing in my living room or it doesn’t meet your standards: Go read a fucking book.”
People might consider themselves lucky that she posts anything at all. Most recently, Spears had announced, according to US media, to sue her father for guardianship abuse. She had been threatened and was very afraid of him.
