According to Jason Schreier, EA Motive Montreal would be developing a new Star Wars game not yet announced and of which nothing is known.
According to Kotaku’s always-well-informed Jason Schreier, EA Motive Montreal has been working on a new Star Wars game for some time, while EA Vancouver would no longer be involved with the franchise.
According to Schreier, EA Vancouver would have been working for some time on a Star Wars game after the cancellation of the open-world Project Orca, but it would have found some difficulties and it would have been seen to cancel also this other title, of which nothing is known. After all, nothing is known of even the EA Motive game, except that it should be released in 2021 if everything goes well.
Obviously this is unofficial news, which must be taken with the springs. At the same time, there is no doubt that Schreier is a pen more than reliable in reporting indiscretions, so we tend to have no reason to doubt his words.
Motive Montreal has been doing a new Star Wars game for a while now. A team in Vancouver was briefly working on a different Star Wars game after Orca, but not anymore
