PES 2020 is the protagonist of the eSport championship eFootball.Pro and Konami has published the results of the first day of competitions.
The first day of the 2019/20 season of the eFootball.Pro championship has just ended, Konami Digital Entertainment BV announced the results of the five matches (each consisting of two matches, at home and away) held Saturday in Barcelona:
- Nantes – Boavista 4-0 / 1-2
- Schalke 04 – Celtic Glasgow 1-0 / 1-0
- Arsenal – Monaco 1-6 / 2-3
- Manchester United – Bayern Munich 3-2 / 0-0
- Barcelona – Juventus 1-1 / 1-0
The ranking, at the end of the first day of the eFootball.Pro championship season 2019-2020, sees Monaco and Schalke 04 in the lead with 6 points. Lotfi (Lotfi Derradji) stood out thanks to four goals in Monaco’s victory against Arsenal.
The most striking result of this first day was without a doubt the double triumph of Monaco (6-1 and 3-2) against Arsenal thanks to the excellent team game expressed by the French players Usmakabyle, Kilzyou, and Lotfi, who they managed to impose their supremacy in both matches after the initial advantages of the London formation with goals from Alex Grd (Alexis Garaud).
The opening match of the tournament: Nantes against Boavista saw the French team dominate (4-0) in the first match thanks to the splendid play of Aazbabysk, Roksa, and Zizou. The second match saw the redemption of the Portuguese team that managed to establish itself for 2-1.
Schalke 04 against Celtic Glasgow was a very tactical and hard-fought match that ended with the double victory of the German team (imposed with a double 1-0) thanks to the signatures of GOOOL and EL_MATADOR. After this double victory, Schalke is leading the standings together with Monaco.
One of the most anticipated matches of the first day was the one between Manchester United and Bayern Monaco, the first game saw the English team prevail (3-2) in 90 minutes full of goals and reversals of fronts, the second game was ended instead with a goalless draw.
The final match saw Juventus and Barcelona, the Catalan team composed of GuiFera, HenrykinhO, and The Palma, face off in the second game thanks to a goal scored by HenrykinhO in full recovery (90 + 5 ‘) after the first game had ended 1-1 thanks to the goals of Juventus player Ildistruttore and Blaugrana GuiFera.
The MVP of the First Day and the best goal will be rewarded at the beginning of the streaming of the second day, KONAMI will choose the MVP among the five players who have scored the highest number of CO-OP points. Both awards are individual and will give a € 10,000 prize to the winner.
