LG OLED55C3 Best Price?
OLED is still the most desired and popular image technology in the television market today. And if you really want to hit the nail on the head, you’ll have to look to LG, which reigns supreme in the OLED TV realm. One of its most recent series, the C3, we really liked, so we gave it an excellent score of 9/10. Its main downside? Very high TV prices, obviously. Fortunately, promotions can soften the bill, as currently: the LG OLED55C3 can cost you less than 1,100 euros thanks to ODR and a promotional code.
Advantages of LG OLED55C3 TV
- A bright OLED panel
- Powerful upscaling
- Four HDMI 2.1 + VRR and ALLM inputs
Launched at 2,099 euros, then reduced to 1,290 euros, the LG OLED55C3 TV is now offered at Ubaldi for 1,213 euros thanks to a promo code. W6JF0224. But thanks to the 200 Euro ODR valid till March 7, 2024, The TV can cost you 1,013 euros.
Image quality that impresses
With its very thin bezels and its fairly wide and tall central legs (which also allow you to place a sound bar in front of the screen), the LG OLED55C3 TV shares many points aesthetically with its predecessor, the C3. It’s at the level of the screen, a 55-inch 10-bit 4K OLED Evo panel, that houses the main new features. First of all, we are lucky to have a brighter panel. During our testing, we measured a peak brightness of 835 cd/m² for a 10% window, in Filmmaker mode, which is higher than the value offered by the C2 (780 cd/m² under the same conditions). The G3 series certainly does better, but the result is completely satisfactory. Above all, note that overall, the image quality of the C3 is simply outstanding, that the viewing angles are very wide and the colors are very faithful to reality.
Additionally, we claim compatibility with HDR, HDR10 (but not yet HDR10+) standards, or even Dolby Vision and Dolby Vision IQ, an evolution of the classic Dolby Vision. The TV also has a 6th generation Alpha 9 image processing processor, which gives the TV more power to achieve better response in image adjustment and which promises much greater content scaling.
The perfect TV for gaming
The C3 series apparently includes optimization functions for gaming. We are first entitled to four HDMI 2.1 inputs at 48 Gbit/s, which is very rare, and which of course allows the display in 4K@120fps for consoles. The next generation. VRR for variable frequencies and ALLM for reduced latency and response time are also included, as is compatibility with AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia’s G-Sync to combat screen tearing and stuttering. To top it off, we measured it Input lag 12.5 ms with Game Optimizer mode activated during our testing. A rate that can be further reduced to 9.2 ms.reinforcer” This has the lowest display lag time on the market, which is saying something.
Finally, WebOS 23 is apparently and LG’s in-house system also benefits from some improvements, such as the appearance of Quick Cards or a new display of notifications. Cloud gaming platforms, such as Nvidia GeForce Now and Utomik, are also accessible.
