When does Skull and Bones season 1 start?
School and Bones post-launch content will follow a seasonal format, but when will the first season begin? Here’s what you need to know.
Ubisoft’s online pirate adventure, Skull and Bones, is finally available. Being a live game, the game will continue to receive updates, and we already know everything that will happen in the first year.
There’s already a lot to explore, from bosses in Skull and Bones to treasure hunting, as well as PvP activities. Once you’ve reached maximum infamy and looted most of the Indian Ocean, all you can do is wait for Season 1, but when does it start?

When does Skull and Bones season 1 start?
Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed a date for Skull & Bones Season 1, but It will probably start in the last week of February or early March.

While there are no official details about the start date, some players have previously seen an in-game message stating that the season could begin on February 26 or 27. An in-game message mentions that some progress will be reset after the new season starts, with a timer showing days remaining.

We know that Each season will last 12 weeks. Here’s a quick overview of what’s planned for Season 1:
- The chief pirate to hunt, Philippe La Paste.
- A new sea monster, the Tylosaurus.
- A new battle pass.
- New activities in group fleet and territory control.
- More hostile takeover and legendary heist opportunities.
Ubisoft has also indicated that most of the first year’s content related to gameplay will be free for all players, so boss fights and other content should be available to everyone.
