The CMP Committee to Combat Illegal Practice of Medicine filed a criminal complaint.

Recently, with tuition in the National Registry of Medical Specialties of the Medical College of Peru (CMP) or the Committee to Fight Illegal Practice of the Regional Council. This person, who claimed to be CMP 1008828 and who cared for pediatric patients, would be practicing medicine illegally in the country, which is a direct threat to the health of the population.

The absence of proper certification in the CMP indicates that Mr. Tay Stagnaro will be conducting medical practice without the necessary qualifications. Dean of Takna Medical College, Dr. Jorge Lopez Claros said that the illegal practice of medicine is not only a moral violation, but also a serious crime that should be treated very seriously. “It is imperative that the competent authorities take swift and effective action to stop the activities of these fake doctors and ensure the safety of patients,” declared the manager.

Committee President Dr. Milagros Sanchez said the CMP also works to combat the illegal practice of medicine in the provinces. “Illegal practice of medicine in the country is a problem that must be curbed and we must involve the citizens so that they can report such incidents,” clarified the doctor. Furthermore, he mentioned that Article 11 of the Regulations of the Medical College of Peru states that membership is an essential requirement for the exercise of the medical profession in the Republic of Peru.
