3 New Unmissable Video Game Releases This Week – February 2024!
Hello all gamers and pop culture fans! February is here, and as always, that means a new update for Xbox. This time, Microsoft is promising us some interesting features, including new touch controls for remote gaming.
The February 2024 update for Xbox is here, and it’s clear that Microsoft is aiming to improve the user experience with the Xbox Series X/S console. Along with one big new feature and a few smaller additions, the official blog states that it aims to “bring new ways to make Xbox better.”
The biggest new feature is the ability for gamers to access the Xbox’s remote gaming feature without needing a controller. Now with the ability to enable touch controls, users will be able to create custom touch control layouts for games when using the Xbox app on iOS, Android and Windows devices. “Additionally, the basic touch control layout can now be used for most other games,” the post adds.
Additionally, Microsoft has added a new Xbox Wireless Controller Recalibration tool that allows users to manually adjust their joysticks and fix any issues they may have encountered. This will also avoid calling Xbox support.
“We’re excited to launch a self-guided recalibration tool on the Xbox Accessories app that helps you recalibrate Xbox Wireless Controller joysticks. “This is part of Xbox’s continued investment in improving the controller repair experience,” the blog reads.
Finally, the new automatic profile logout feature is last, as you might have guessed, adding extra security to your account. This is a particularly useful feature for children’s hospitals, gaming cafes, and other environments with shared consoles. To enable this feature, simply go to Settings > System > Access Restrictions.
The new February update is available in “Updates & Downloads” on your Xbox console, so be sure to download it and check out these exciting new features. Gaming passion and pop culture, we’ll see you soon for a new dose of news!
