On Thursday, it was time to evaluate today’s best shortstops.
Using rankings based on past player performance, a variety of offensive and defensive metrics, plus advanced data and traditional numbers, plus analysis by MLB Network’s research team, “The Shredder” compiled his list of the top 10 players. Time in each place.

The 10 best shortstops of the moment
