Red Dead Redemption 2’s flagship feature returns, fans are going wild!
3 New Unmissable Video Game Releases This Week – February 2024!
Yes, friends, it’s time to rejoice! A PlayStation developer has confirmed that some features from Red Dead Redemption 2 will be returning for GTA VI, and frankly, I’m over the moon.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is definitely not an all-time open world game. It was so impressively detailed that it made almost every open world look inferior in comparison. Next year, however, it will be surpassed by GTA VI, and frankly, if the latest leaks and rumors are to be believed, it will definitely be worth the wait.
According to the PlayStation developer, GTA VI will draw inspiration from some features of Red Dead Redemption 2. This includes Eagle Eye, an ability that the player can use to recognize various objects and people in the world, as well as a useful tool. Tracking animals during hunting trips. It’s unclear if hunting will be a big part of the game, but there are also plans for a fishing mini-game, so maybe Eagle Eye could be useful for that. Maybe we can hunt raging alligators/herds of alligators instead?
This isn’t the only Red Dead Redemption 2 feature that makes its way into the game. According to the same source, Rockstar also plans to bring back the NPC interaction system. To be fair, you could already react to NPCs in GTA V, but Red Dead Redemption 2 offered more options to make the open world more immersive. Players will be able to interact with various NPCs wandering the streets of Vice City, maybe even some crazy ones like the lady with the hammer.
Other information has been shared internally, but what is apparently still missing is the release date. It’s still unclear when Rockstar plans to launch the game, aside from a very vague release window of 2025.
That said, the new information we’re uncovering suggests that GTA VI will be worth the wait, and we can’t wait to see what the game includes when it releases next year.
