How to digitally sign a document?
Documenso is an online service dedicated to the digital signature (also called electronic signature) of documents. It can be used to sign PDF files, Word documents or other office files, without the need to print them, sign them by hand and then scan them. The process is done directly online. In addition – and this is one of the main advantages of Documentos – creating an account is not necessary.
Free version, paid options
Obviously, the tool is available for free, but as is often the case with online services, the version does not provide access to all possible benefits. For example, you can sign only five documents per month and share with 10 recipients each time. A non-paying document is therefore primarily relevant in terms of one-off use. Note that by creating an account, you will be able to find all your saved documents.
Businesses who sign hundreds of documents per day are better off subscribing to the paid version or turning to alternatives like DocuSign or YouSign. Note that the Enterprise version of Documenso allows you to use your own subdomain, perform compliance checks, access analysis reports, support, and guarantee service availability. The free version, in fact, is not very stable.
