Free reveals the first big hint on the launch date of Freebox V9, it’s coming
The new Freebox V9 will be marketed between January 21 and February 19.
The new Freebox V9, the name of which no one but the operator knows yet, is on the launch pad, with the FreeRocket getting ready to take off in the next few weeks, and that’s what it says it has bent. If Free planned to go on sale in late 2023, it recently announced in an email to its subscribers that “something is in the works”.
While the exact release date is not yet known, the Free is the first to hint and really start the buzz around its new high-end bike that will replace the Freebox Delta at a similar price.
On Instagram, Free released a post on January 13 with a very clear message, “Swipe for a surprise.” In it, the operator reviews its various freeboxes, such as Revolution, Delta, Pop and for the first time Freebox V9, the visuals of which are not revealed. The operator, however, makes an annotation: “You don’t know me but you love me.”
Nothing too exciting in itself, but on closer inspection, every freebox photo has an astrological sign, and it becomes more than interesting. Thus Freebox Delta and Revolution are credited with the sign of Sagittarius as they were sold during the month of December. Freebox Pop was launched in July 2020 and is therefore associated with the sign of Cancer. For Freebox V9, it is Aquarius, which indicates that the new Freebox will be released between January 21 and February 19.
