Fortnite players want a change for exclusive Battle Pass skins
Fortnite’s Battle Pass skins are the best in the game. However, some players are unhappy with their limited lifespan.
It’s very common to see a bunch of new skins in the Fortnite item shop. However, Battle Pass-specific skins were never available in the in-game store.
As Reddit user u/good_guy_red points out, discussion of old Fortnite Battle Pass skins has reached an all-time high. The author of the post wondered what the possible reason for this interest could be.

Fortnite players want Epic Games to release Battle Pass skin variants
Many players have answered this question. They suggested that Epic Games release variations of Fortnite Battle Pass skins. They also suggested that the large influx of new players could be the reason for the increase in talk about old Battle Pass skins.
Fortnite saw a massive increase in players with the OG season. Most of them were new players who didn’t get a chance to experience some of the older skins of the game.

Over the course of four chapters, Epic Games produced some truly amazing skins, some of which were closely tied to the lore. Not only that, some collaboration skins like Lara Croft or Rick Sanchez were also Fortnite Battle Pass exclusive skins. Many said they would buy this skin if the developers brought it back to the item store.

Players believe that Epic Games could adopt a system similar to Fallout 76, making the Seasonal Battle Pass free for everyone, with the promise that featured cosmetics can be purchased later with Atoms.
Alternatively, players believe that the developers may also release a Fortnite Battle Pass with all the classic skins from the game. This could be a great opportunity for new fans to earn some of the best skins ever released.
At this point, Epic Games is unlikely to sell exclusive Battle Pass skins in Fortnite’s in-game store. However, it is always possible that they will change their minds in the future.
