Small exclamation point on the current season!
Since Chapter 5 and its inaugural season, we’ve had some changes, some big moments and it’s good to see where we’re at.
If, on the story side, we’re still fighting the Society to save Peele, we were able to take advantage of some extras in terms of weapons with a well-built remote assault rifle or even a “shield spray seed” of sorts. Madness remembers what you can do when you drink champagne.

But it was also Winterfest with its many free gifts and special quests with Sergeant Winter and Krampus who we love to meet. It’s a chance to note that a quest had a bit of a bug one day as this can happen to me during weekly quests. Nothing bad in absolute terms but it creates a bit of doubt at first. Still, Winterfest gave away two free costumes with Holiday Boxy proving you can make cute cardboard armor (it reminds you of this gorgeous Switch game) and the feisty Bushranger where our favorite hedgehog from Fortnite disguises himself as a fir tree. A funny outfit that has significant camouflage properties during Christmas time or in snowy parts of the map.

After Winterfest, we’re back to normal mode to better welcome Solid Snake, a hero who also loves boxes, and to welcome this character, what could be better than a good life with friends from the editorial team that I managed to bring on board. With me and where we also had victory. A good time that tickled our national Shinze to take a pass, especially for snakes.
A place of rest?
Snake’s arrival resulted in the return of mortars but very Metal Gear elements such as camouflage and the famous cardboard. A more fun element than an actual slap in the face, cardboard is still fun and was a mandatory element for Snake. Too bad this doesn’t really result in a cool special feeling because the base is just a tribute. But the look of a glider, “pickaxe” or even a weapon is pretty cool in my opinion. And even better, the snake look sends a share of the pie with the basic look, the look with special glasses like Sam Fisher (or almost) and especially the old snake look with mustache and eyepatch for the ultimate class.

So we can see it’s still fun and I can’t count the joy I had throwing my shield to defeat enemies. There were no twists and turns in the story, but the fun, little details here and there or just the arrival of the snake, is a big deal as we call it at home.
