“Florida Joker” is now seeking $5 million from Rockstar Games to appear in the trailer

At the beginning of December, Rockstar Games published a simple tweet, giving us an appointment on December 5 at 3 pm to find the first trailer for the next opus of the GTA license. Unfortunately, the latter was leaked and the studio decided to release the video immediately. For 91 seconds, people discover the new face of Vice City, main characters Lucia and Jason, and a fake video inspired by real content that went viral, all to the sound of the song. Love is a long way by Tom Petty.

In this video, we see a man with a tattooed face who has just been arrested by the Sheriff’s Office. Immediately, people recognize him as Lawrence Sullivan, who became famous on the Internet thanks to his mugshot in which his appearance evokes the Joker from DC Comics. Considering it’s part of the game’s marketing campaign, Lawrence Sullivan said he wants two million dollars in compensation, and he won’t hesitate to go to court.

Now, the person concerned has given an ultimatum to Rockstar Games. In a new video relayed by Culture Crave on X (formerly Twitter), he reveals:

You all are playing with my intelligence. This is my final warning. I spoke to my lawyers, we have sent you a letter and we are still waiting for a reply. Now I want five million dollars. If you don’t answer me by my birthday on January 11th, we will take legal action. Rockstar, talk to your dad and give me my money. ยป
