Emma Stone’s struggle to control her anxiety as a child has turned into a “superpower of sorts” over the years. It is with the game that the actress says she found a way to refocus her anxiety state.
Emma Stone opened up about her battle with anxiety as a child in an interview with National Public Radio last Wednesday.

Emma Stone has been open about her battle with anxiety and panic attacks for many years. She has previously explained that her anxiety helps her better understand the emotions of her characters.
“I also believe that there is a lot of empathy when we have a lot of trouble within us. We want to understand how the people around us work or what’s going on with them internally, which is great for the characters,” she has already said.
“It means we have these tools to manage. And if you can use that for productive things, if you can use all those emotions in that synapse that’s something creative, or something that you’re passionate about, or something that’s interesting.”
