A powerful earthquake shakes the island of Hawaii

The 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Pahala on the island of Hawaii, the largest of the American archipelago in the Pacific Ocean, the USGS noted. According to the institute, the depth of the earthquake was approximately 37 kilometers. Local media reported that her tremors were felt shortly after 10 a.m. local time.
