A Fortnite player recently came forward with a bold theory claiming that Chapter 5 is actually a remake of Chapter Season 2.
Fortnite Chapter 5 has drastically changed the game by introducing many new features like weapon attachments, wall climbing, medallions and much more.
With the Season 1 update, Epic Games also introduced three new game modes namely Festival, Rocket Racing and LEGO Fortnite, which quickly became extremely popular among players.
Now, when it comes to Battle Royale and Zero Build, each season of Fortnite has a story that players follow through quests and in-game events.

While players are currently fighting bosses and stealing medals, a fan has theorized that the current season is a similar remake of Chapter 2 Season 2.
Fortnite Player Claims Season 1 Chapter 5 Is A Remake Of Season 2 Chapter 2
A Reddit user named MagiStarIL posted his theory on the FortniteBR subreddit, talking about how Chapter 5 is a remake of Chapter 2 with the same mythology.

He posted comparison images of characters and factions from Season 1 of Chapter 5 Underground and Season 2 of Chapter 5 Top Secret, as well as a diagram of how time travel from Chapter 2 to the OG season began.

One player immediately agreed with this theory, saying: “Midas and Montague, Meoskull and Oscar, Brutus and Peter Griffin, Deadpool and Solid Snake, Skye and Valeria, Nisha and TNT’s. Both stories involve Peele, a battle between 2 factions, and the Society’s logo is gold (although Montag, the founder, is associated with diamonds).“
Another added: “Yes, it certainly seems to be motivated by a lot of different things. The shape of the map is also similar to Chapter 2. OG/Big Bang is clearly a story ‘reset’ for the new writers now that Donald Mustard is gone.“

A third user added: “If this is true, I hope we get a new Marvel season or any crossover season like an altered version of Chapter 2 Season 4 because I didn’t get to play that season.“
So real remake or not? The coming weeks will probably confirm this theory.
