The African Cup of Nations will enter its knockout stage on Saturday 27 January, with the Round of 16 kicking off. While the big nations surprised everyone (Algeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast), other teams such as Mauritania, Angola and Equatorial Guinea caused a sensation.
Senegal, the reigning champions, were the only ones to retain their place, having won three in a row, while Egypt and Cameroon had to fight to validate their ticket. So the spectacular view of the group stage offers an exciting and inconclusive encounter for the Round of 16. Find all CAN 8th Finals.
Finally, Morocco secured first place in Group F thanks to a narrow win over Zambia (1-0) on Wednesday, January 24. A success that allowed Cote d’Ivoire to qualify in the best 3rd.
