Dexter King, son of Martin Luther King, died at the age of 62

(CNN) — According to statements from his family and the King Center, Dr. Dexter Scott King, the youngest son of Martin Luther King, has died.

The King Center confirmed in a statement that the 62-year-old died on Monday after a battle with prostate cancer.
