The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey is “incredibly happy” with the new cast
The second season of HBO’s new zombie apocalypse show The Last of Us It is slated to enter production in early February 2024. The show will adapt another game from Naughty Dog’s video game series, with a much larger scope and a more layered, overarching story. Because of this, the team has enlisted four elite directorial experts. And the casting so far is pretty much on point.
One of the most important characters in The Last of Us Part II Abby is a new character who finds herself in a very personal conflict with Ellie (Bella Ramsay), the scrappy survivor we met in the first season. The show officially stars Emmy-nominated actor Caitlin Dever (Fair enough, BookSmart) as AB. Other newcomers include Isabelle Merced (Dina) and Young Mazino (Jesse), two of Ellie’s closest friends in the video game.
Needless to say, Bella Ramsay is very happy with the Season 2 cast. “I’m incredibly happy with who has been cast,” they said GamesRadar. “It’s exciting for me. I’m happy that so many new people have come and joined the family. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Speaking about Kaitlyn Dever’s arrival, Ramsey recalled their first meeting while Dever’s casting was still being worked out. “I put Kaitlyn in the stupidest place (a) party once,” they said. However, their visit was very short. “I met Caitlin there pretty quickly when we were waiting for our car. I knew they were talking to her about the casting at the time, so it was kind of quiet.”heyand shared numbers and content.”
“That’s great, Isabelle and Young too, I’m really excited to go with them all.”
The Last of Us Season 2 will begin production on February 14. HBO hasn’t set a release date yet, but we can guess that it will arrive sometime in 2025.
