It’s a big surprise for AS Roma! Jose Mourinho, the Portuguese technician who took charge of the Italian club two years ago by winning the Europa Conference League in 2022, is no longer the coach of the Italian club who made the news official with a conversation this Tuesday.

“AS Roma announced that Jose Mourinho and his technical colleagues will leave the club with immediate effect. Mourinho was announced in May 2021 as the 60th coach in Roma’s history.
He led the team to victory in the Conference League in Tirana on May 25, 2022 and in the Europa League final in Budapest last season.
“On behalf of everyone at AS Roma we would like to thank Jose for the passion and commitment he has shown since his arrival in yellow and red,” said Dan and Ryan Friedkin.
“We will always have great memories of his stewardship, but we believe that, in the best interests of the club, an immediate change is necessary.
“We wish Jose and his colleagues all the best for the future.”
