Zoe Saldana In all three, Nyota is brilliant in the role of Uhura Star Trek movies in which she appeared and wants to return for one last ride on the USS Enterprise. As you know, producer Abrams And Paramount Pictures has been trying to field a fourth Star Trek film for years, but for some reason, they just can’t seem to get their shit together.
During a recent interview with CB, Saldana was asked about Star Trek 4And she said:
“I know. I mean I heard what you heard in the trade. I just heard they’re getting ready to do a new one with a smaller version, take it. Like it’s off. I know. Not if it’s the former or the latter, but they’re still hoping to grab all of us veterans and bring them back for one last round. Listen, I know it’s a lot to wrangle a whole bunch of people with busy schedules. But , working with JJ Abrams Doing and working with JJ Abrams in Bad Robot has always been an amazing and beautiful experience for me. So, if I can do this one last time, I’ll be very grateful.”

The movie is said to be “an origin story set decades before the 2009 Star Trek film that rebooted the franchise”. The movie is in addition to the fourth Star Trek movie that Abrams is still trying to get off the ground.
