Top 3 Video Game Releases of the Week – Starting February 2024! 🎮

Hello gamers who are passionate about video games! Have you noticed the similarities between the art of Prince of Persia and Hades? It’s amazing! Personally, I’m really excited that the next Prince of Persia game might take on the same roguelike style as Hades. Imagine the unpredictable gameplay and unique mechanics to discover in each game. This could truly redefine the franchise for the modern era.

The art style of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is reminiscent of Hades, and I love it. The game marks a turning point in the Metroidvania genre, as Hades did for Roguelikes. It’s already making waves for the 2024 Game of the Year, which is promising. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Prince of Persia franchise. It would be great to see it on a roguelike genre.

Even though Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown only shares its art style with Hades, I have no doubt that the next game in the franchise could easily turn into a Hades-style roguelike to stay unpredictable. I look forward to seeing how Ubisoft continues to innovate with the Prince of Persia franchise.

Hades’ influence must have spread like wildfire to the Prince of Persia. It would be great to see the franchise experiment with other genres and test new waters. Ubisoft has proven that Prince of Persia has no limits, and I’m excited to see what they have in store for the future.

In any case, I’m excited to see Prince of Persia reinvented as a 2.5D Metroidvania. I think transitioning to rogue should also be considered. Whichever path the franchise takes, I’m sure it will be exciting.

And for those who haven’t tried it yet, I recommend taking a look at Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Focusing on stylized combat, the game harkens back to the early 2D days of the franchise. Inspired by Persian mythology and set on Mount Calf, it mixes platforming, parkour, action and narrative. A real little gem for video game fans!
