The OVTA girl was brutally beaten and another minor OA was verbally assaulted, but threats were made to kill her too.

Amaya said the first verbal attack took place on January 5: “That Friday girls from the same bus that plies the route at departure insulted our daughters that they would not board the bus and uttered a series of rude words. When she landed, they shouted to her that they were waiting for her on Monday.

On Monday, January 8, when she was going to school in a bus, the same girls stood around her and made her get off the bus by swearing and cursing her. The mother alleged that the driver did not intervene and did not even call the police.

“On Monday, January 8 at 2:40 pm local time, “when my daughter boarded the bus assigned to JHS 226 Virgin Grison School located in Rockaway, several girls surrounded her and insulted her and her daughter. Comrades, they yelled at her “white people” about what they do in this country and a series of rude things.”

“They ran to the school, I went to the police again, they took a report, they didn’t take the video and they didn’t call me, they didn’t do anything. According to the school, they are already dealing with this case, I went to the school superintendent and they agreed to call me to the school court on Thursday.
