Search teams this Wednesday found a United States Armed Forces military helicopter transporting five Marines that disappeared from radar on Tuesday night.
According to the statement, rescue efforts are ongoing as they try to locate the crew members after locating the crashed device.
The helicopter was found in Pine Valley, San Diego.

The Navy is coordinating rescue efforts with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department and the Civil Air Patrol. Cal Fire received a call about the missing helicopter at 2:20 a.m. and responded to its last known location in Pine Valley, according to Cal Fire San Diego Capt. Mike Cornett. USA Today.
“Pine Valley is a mountainous region near the Cleveland National Forest, about 35 miles east of San Diego,” the outlet notes.
The sheriff’s department was notified at 1 a.m. that the ship was being delayed in reaching Miramar. and was last seen in the Pine Valley area, a mountainous region about 35 miles (56 kilometers) east of San Diego, Lt. Matthew Carpenter said.
Weather complications in California
The area where the helicopter was reported missing has been hit by a storm overnight.
It is not yet known what time the helicopter took off from Nevada. The weather service in San Diego expected 6 to 10 inches (15 to 25 centimeters) of snow and gusty winds Wednesday night in the mountains above 5,000 feet (1,524 meters).
The CH-53E is a heavy-lift helicopter used to transport troops and equipment for amphibious assault and supply missions, according to the Naval Air Systems Command website. It has three engines and is about 30 meters (99 ft) long.
