In the clip, the two are seen attacking each other with blows between dangerous and sharp rocks, near the shore of the beach. Pedestrians tried to separate them, but the fight ended until police arrived and both were arrested.

Some netizens commented that this could have ended badly because of the location where they were located.

Below is the video:

According to a report provided by the Metropolitan Police of Cartagena, the fight took place yesterday at 6:45 pm.

“A case was presented with two Venezuelan citizens, residents of the La MarĂa neighborhood, who were promoting the fight in the beach area. Law 1801 of 2016, Article 27 paragraph 1, was applied to them,” the organization indicated.

What does the law say about strife?

The law establishes that in the case of a street brawl, the violation will be applied to attack public safety, thus the participants may face a fine equal to 50 to 100 times the amount of the Measurement and Update Unit (UMA) or 36 hours of arrest.
