To pre-order or not to pre-order? That is the question. I believe this is what William Shakespeare was asking before Cyberpunk 2077 launched, although I could be wrong. History is not my favorite field.
Take a look at everything we know about GTA VI below!
On the one hand, GTA 6 looks absolutely incredible from what we’ve seen. We also know that Rockstar Games is unmatched when it comes to open-world experiences. Just look at the quality of Red Dead Redemption 2. other side? Well, pre-ordering big games is getting risky. Just look at titles like No Man’s Sky, Starfield or any Call of Duty released in the last 10 years.
On the GTA VI subreddit, fans are wondering if pre-ordering the next game is wise. And while most people have full faith in Rockstar to deliver a product that feels truly finished and perfectly polished from day one, others are wary.
“Clearly this is the most anticipated game ever,” wrote one user. “I will definitely pre-order it and pre-load it so I can play it at midnight. »
Another added: “Me too, definitely 100%. This whole ‘never pre-order’ thing is pretty far-fetched in my opinion. Even if GTA VI has terrible reviews, there’s no way I’m not going to play it myself – so if I’m going to buy it anyway, there’s no point in waiting until it’s available for purchase. »
Others are less certain, though the decision seems to have less to do with whether GTA VI will be a disaster at launch — the overwhelming consensus is that it won’t — and more to do with a general lack of pre-order interest.
One user writes: “Why would I? They will not run out of stock. »
Given that GTA VI won’t be released until 2025, it will be a while before we see any pre-order details, but I suspect Rockstar will break another record as soon as the game is available for purchase.
