Dune: Part Two Confirms Epic RuntimeWarner Bros

Dune: Part Two has a fairly decent runtime.

The film is once again directed by Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners) and stars Timothée Chalamet as Arakis messiah-in-waiting Paul Atreides and Zendaya as his freeman lover Chani.

Now it has been confirmed that this film is coming soon 2 hours 45 minutes (via IFCO).

That’s 10 minutes longer than Dune: Part One, which won six Oscars in 2022.

In the upcoming sequel, Elvis and The Bikeriders actor Austin Butler joins as Feyd-Rautha, Baron Harkonnen’s murderous nephew.

Addressing the role, he told Interview magazine back in October: “I’ve always felt incredible pressure. I felt that when I was 12. Even if the material doesn’t really call for it, I feel like I need to do my best. I maybe i can

“It sets a bar, and then I’m always afraid I’m going to miss something. With Dune it was interesting, because I met Dennis and we got along really well, and started talking about the character. At the time we didn’t even have a script, but we started talking about Fayed, my imagination started to run and I started to feel the dread of the challenge.”

Butler, whose fellow Dune newcomers include Oppenheimer’s Florence Pugh, Severance’s Christopher Walken and Nightmare Alley’s Tim Black Nelson, described Villeneuve as “one of the greatest living filmmakers”.

“The thing with Dennis is, you’ll give an idea and then his mind will start popping up, and then he’ll come back with 10 more, and then you’ll feed off each other’s imaginations,” he shared.
