- How to get an incubator to hatch eggs?
Like Pokemon or Temtam, it is possible to hatch an egg in Palworld. Eggs contain various elements that are related to pal : Fire, Ice, Grass, Lightning, Darkness, Dragon, Normal, etc…
Except that these eggs are different from those given by Chikipi. Although chickpies produce eggs that can give you chickpies after hatching, they don’t give other pals and are mainly useful for cooking. So how do you get eggs to try to find new mates?
Well, know that there are three methods of getting pals eggs:
- In nests found in the wildEspecially at high altitudes, on cliffs, old infrastructure or even on mounts
- in the chests Which requires a silver or gold key (keys are dropped by LeasePunk, so feel free to grab or remove them)
- On your ranchBy breeding pals among themselves
The eggs you collect are related to the biome they are in. For example, you’ll find large amounts of frozen eggs in snowy mountains, wet eggs next to bodies of water, or warm eggs in volcanic areas. Here is a small sample of the discoveries we were able to make based on the biomes we visited.
- Frozen Mountain – Water or ice
- Volcano – fire
- Ran – fire, earth or lightning
- Forest and Lake – Normal, Grass, Water, Dark, Dragon
Eggs come in many sizes: normal, large, and giant. The bigger the egg, the rarer pal you will have. So if you come across an egg that’s much bigger than the others, collect it in hopes of meeting a pal that’s unfamiliar to your paldex!
Despite the wide selection of eggs in the wild, Breeding is a great way to create the perfect companion or target a species you’ve never had the chance to meet before.. Indeed, inbreeding allows you to select mates of your choice to create a mate that will inherit aspects of its parents.
To optimize reproductionIt is advisable to choose friends with the best stats and best passive skills as parents, so that they can pass on the best traits to their offspring..
To get the perfect pal, it is best to choose a lucky pal as a parent, otherwise called a shiny one. They benefit from better stats overall. So they are the best parents you have for breeding. But you should still be lucky enough to meet them! So, if you don’t have a lucky pal, bet on the best friends you have in your pal box.
- noted : There is a possibility that pulse size affects fertility. By breeding very large Pals (especially Bosses), the probability of obtaining large eggs is increased. However, we are not sure about this information yet, so take it with a grain of salt! ”
But to breed your companions, you will need to build a ranch. The latter is unlocked at level 19 and requires a large space, so design your camp according to the ranch, because it’s really impressive!
Once your ranch is installed, the parent selected, All you have to do is hand them over to the ranch and then give them the cake (from the small box at the entrance) to make the magic work..
These sweets can be obtained in several ways: By capturing or eliminating Lovanders or making your own cake with Marmite.
Making a cake yourself will undoubtedly be rewarding and most of all fun, but the recipe requires a lot of facilities, investment and resources.
- Flour – obtained by growing wheat and then crushing it a crusher
- Red Berry – Obtained from the red berry plant, either by growing it or collecting it from its back capacity in the field
- Milk – is obtained by keeping in the farm Mozzarina
- Eggs – are obtained by placing them in the farm Chikipi
- Honey – is obtained by placing in the farm Begarde
- Don’t know where to find Capritti, Mozzarina, Chiquipi or even Bigarde? Find their position in our Paldex! “”
However, if you choose to remove the lavender to collect mushrooms or cakes, be careful, because there is a good chance that a lavender raid will start in your camp. It is unclear whether the carnage we committed earlier after we returned to our camp triggered this event, but it was a curious coincidence. They attack after dark, so be warned!
- Wholesale Tip: We know that germantide is a complicated pal to get, so here’s a tip for you! By breeding Quivern (Boss) and Relaxaurus (Boss), we were able to get one. Also, we invite you to reproduce this experience to try to get this dragon and water type pal!
Now that you have the egg, you now need to hatch it… So, How to get an incubator ? Follow the leader!
The Incubator is a feature you can unlock at character level 7. However, you won’t be able to unlock it with simple technical issues. Indeed, you will need ancient technology points to build it, but also ancient civilization pieces. But how do you get these fantastic resources?
Technical points Can be obtained by completing a dungeon for the first time (i.e. eliminating or capturing its boss) or by eliminating one of the pal bosses in the wild (always the first time). They are marked on your map, so you will have no problem identifying them. On the other hand, when it comes to underground dungeons, you will need to show a great sense of observation to see them. However, if you add a Leasepunk to your team, you can get information about the location of one of them.
Fragments of an ancient civilization, for them, can be obtained in the same way, but there are some differences to note. Each time you kill or capture a pal boss you can find in a dungeon or in the wild, but by capturing or eliminating a lucky pal, otherwise known as a “shiny”, you’ll earn coins from Ancient Civilizations.
Once you have the incubator, all you have to do is place an egg in it and then wait for it to hatch. Depending on its size and the speed of time passing that is specific to your server, the incubation will be more or less long. A normal sized egg hatches much faster than a giant egg.
Now you know all about eggs, reproduction and hatching! If you ever want to complete your paldex, except eggs, don’t hesitate to consult our wiki page which lists all palworld companions. We tell you about the resources they provide, their use in research or at camp, but above their positions!
