Game news News for Cyberpunk 2077 and Blizzard… Here’s today’s joint venture news!
It’s 6pm, time for our recap of news that shouldn’t be missed. Between the change of presidency on the Blizzard side and another new update for Cyberpunk 2077, let’s get to the JV recap for Tuesday January 30, 2024.
Cyberpunk 2077: Unexpected, the CD Project game will receive a new update!
Do you think Cyberpunk 2077 will no longer be entitled to updates? It is true that CD Projekt Red released its December 5, 2023 patch “Last Major Update” of the game to focus on its sequel and the upcoming The Witcher. But that was without counting the new patch that has just been announced. Of course, there are no major changes on the horizon. The idea is to respond to some minor feedback from players. The patch should be released later this week and we expect to have more information very soon.
⚙️ We love to get a new patch for you #Cyberpunk2077 Out sometime next week. It will address the most common issues reported by players, including finisher animations.
Stay tuned for more information coming after the weekend.

Blizzard has a new president! Earlier, she worked for Call of Duty
Recently, Mike Ybarra announced that he is leaving his position as director of the giant Blizzard. Microsoft’s video game ecosystem received an announcement in a gloomy context with news of layoffs of 1,900 people, particularly at Activision Blizzard. Suffice it to say that his successor will not begin work under the best of circumstances. And now we know who it is: Johanna Ferries, the former general manager of the Call of Duty license. An announcement that already worries some Blizzard fans. That’s why the future director wanted to reassure: “I have discussed this with the Blizzard leadership team, and I approach this role with a sensitivity to these dynamics and a deep respect for Blizzard as we begin to explore the possibilities of taking our universe to new levels. I’m committed to doing everything in my power to help Blizzard thrive, taking care of you and our games, which are all unique and special.” He will assume his new role on February 5.
how are you all Today I smell the following notes @Blizzard_Ent. To X: I play to be in “listen mode” here, but believe me I’m tuned in! For me: A typical day=work life+yoga life+play life. Currently in heavy rotation: D4, COD, BG3. Blessings and gratitude 🙏🏽 ahead. ✨ pic.twitter.com/Ph8XgsTcpk

Between layoffs and cancellations, the carnage won’t stop…
According to Information from Bloomberg and Jason SchreyerEmbracer Group has reportedly canceled a Deus Ex sequel that teams have been working on for two years. And as if that wasn’t enough, the group in turn suffered an irresistible urge to shed a large portion of its payroll. Acquired by Embracer in May 2022, information confirmed by Eidos Montréal, with 97 people to thank. After Microsoft, Unity and Riot, nothing seems able to stop the devastating wave of layoffs…
One of the best shooters of the decade has disappeared from Steam
Do you know Spec Ops: The Line? This first-person shooter, released in 2012, has the merit of offering a darker and more thoughtful look at war, inspired by the story of Joseph Conrad. In the heart of darkness. Does it make you interested in it? Well know that if you’re a Steam-only player it’s already too late. The Spec Ops: line has virtually disappeared from the platform. The game’s game director, Corey Davis, can’t figure out what might have happened and invites the publisher, 2K, to provide answers. Expiration of music licenses, issues surrounding the franchise, a remaster in preparation… the reasons behind this withdrawal could be numerous. Note that if you want to get the game on PC, it is still possible to find it on the GOG platform. What’s more, the title benefits from an 80% promotion there which allows you to find it for just €3.99.
This sci-fi multiplayer video game on PS5 and PC is still unannounced: it’s only a matter of time, everything matches Sony’s State of Play!
Well, no need to wait any longer
The PlayStation exclusive game “Concord” will be announced very soon!
Here’s what we know about this multiplayer FPS from Firewalk Studios, including a summary of all the latest rumors about the upcoming State of Playhttps://t.co/CEi6q4eskt

Do you remember the Concorde? The PS5 and PC titles were announced last May. This is a multiplayer science fiction FPS. Introduced the release date? A vague 2024. A priority, so we should hear from him soon. And why not on the next State of Play which will take place on Wednesday January 31 (that’s tomorrow) from 11pm? In all likelihood, the conference seems to be the best time to reveal images of the title and perhaps a more specific release date. This user (see tweet above) also took the opportunity to take stock of all the rumors surrounding the title.
That’s the end of the recap for today, have a good evening and see you tomorrow!
