At a morning press conference, he detailed four proposals from the government of Mexico to the United States aimed at structurally curbing the illegal migration of people from Central America and the Caribbean.

The second is about the regularization of at least 10 million Hispanics who have been working in the United States for more than 10 years.
The third is to suspend the blockade of Cuba and begin a relationship of bilateral dialogue and respect.
The fourth step is to remove all sanctions against Venezuela. In connection with this issue, he referred to the recent kidnapping in Tamaulipas, in which 26 nationals of that country were victims.
They presented these approaches to the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken; Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, and Advisor to the President for Homeland Security, Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall last December.
The Chief Executive highlighted that the Government of Mexico is currently promoting the conclusion of agreements with the countries involved to work in solidarity and implement support programs.
