“A week in his life” with Sylvie Giebel, town hall secretary of Gers, who in December unanimously passed a law to revive a business that is little-known but essential to the functioning of small towns. 23,000 of them are in municipalities with less than 2,000 inhabitants in France. 94% of women were paid slightly more than the minimum wage. Sylvie works for four town halls: Montpezzat, Souverere, Meresting, Montegut-Sèves, which she attends at the wheel of her Mini Cooper.
