Man in wheelchair brutally attacked by two dogs in Miami
Two dogs in a wheelchair in Florida City brutally attacked a man, knocking him to the ground and biting him, with injuries so severe they required surgery.
A violent incident occurred last Wednesday afternoon near Northwest 10th Street and Fifth Avenue in Florida City, a city located in Miami-Dade County.
The victim, known in the neighborhood as Smokey, was taken to Ryder Trauma Center in Jackson South with serious hand injuries that required two surgeries.
A neighbor declared Local 10 News He’s a great guy, he doesn’t have a home, but he has people who support him and is surrounded by family in the hospital right now.
A video released this Saturday shows Smokey already lying on the sidewalk being bitten by dogs, one of which appears to be a pit bull.
The recording shows the driver of the semi-trailer truck honking to scare away the animals standing in the cab. Others threw things at them, but no one came forward to stop the attack.
Finally the dogs stopped.
Residents on the block called them Boo Boo, who they described as very peaceful, and Jumpy, the black man, who usually jumped the fence of their house and was considered very dangerous because he had already attacked another person. is
Florida city authorities reported that the owner is currently in jail and others are taking care of him. Both were removed from the home and placed in the custody of County Animal Control Services.
At the time of writing it has not been decided whether he will be sacrificed.
Officials have also not released more information about the health condition of the victim of the brutal attack.
