PSG has climbed the world podium in football turnover rankings
Real Madrid was the club that generated the most turnover in world football last season, while Paris Saint-Germain came third from fifth in the Money League report conducted by Deloitte. A ranking where ticketing and commercial revenues have dominated.
PSG climbed the podium for the first time with revenues of around 802 million euros, behind Manchester City (826 million euros). For the Parisian club, this represents an increase of 23% in one year. Paris Saint-Germain mainly depends on its professional performances (400 million euros) in addition to its TV rights (239 million euros). But it also depends on its income from match days, which includes ticketing at the Parc des Princes. In this area, PSG is second in Europe with a record of 153 million euros.

The CIES Football Observatory has published a world ranking of the best clubs in terms of trading (the balance between buying and selling players. Losc and AS Monaco are in first and fourth place respectively, while PSG and Barça are at the bottom of the ranking.

Anelka appointed as head of Turkish club
Eleventh in Turkish D2, Umraniyespor club announced this Thursday the appointment of Nicolas Anelka to the position of CEO. Former scorer for the French team, time sports director at Hyères in 2021, therefore seeks official work in football.
During his playing career, Nikolas Anelka spent around 18 months in Turkey with Istanbul club Fenerbahce.

Yassin Bammou signs for Chinese D2
Moroccan Yassin Bammou opted to explore China, signing for Guangxi Pingguo Haliao FC in the Chinese Second Division. This club, very recent, was established only in 2018. Bammou left Ajaccio, where he had been playing since the start of the season, just five months after his arrival (3 goals, 1 assist in 18 matches). The ACA spoke of “a personal choice which the club regrets and cannot prevent”. The former Nantes player will become the team’s “star” striker after playing in Turkey and Qatar. (VJ)
Xavi plans to leave at the end of the season…
FC Barcelona’s fresh elimination from Wednesday’s Copa del Rey quarter-final in Bilbao (4-2, ap) further weakens Xavi. Last week, the Barca coach hinted that he would step down if he did not win any trophies this season. He did not change his speech on Wednesday.
“I said a reality and now I repeat it. If we are not at the level of competitiveness at the end of the season, the usual thing is that I have to leave like all coaches. When I said, you (journalists) were alarmed, But you are inquiring whether I should go or not. We are at a big club, I know where I am and they will ask me for titles.
