JetBlue plane diverted to Florida after violent passenger claiming to be “devil”

a JetBlue Flight which was en route to Boston from Fort Lauderdale International Airport, had to divert and land in Orlando after a violent passenger who claimed to be “the devil” was on board.

The plane’s pilot said he was a “violent and disruptive passenger” and had to reroute the flight to avoid a major confrontation.

The incident took place around 9.30 pm on Thursday night. The passenger said it was the devil. He threatened and beat a woman after JetBlue Flight 170 took off in South Florida.

Another passenger, identified on social media Leo RuizA video was captured in which law enforcement officers can be seen removing the violent man from the plane.

“There was a violent and disruptive passenger behind us. (…) Unfortunately I couldn’t make an announcement to warn them, because we didn’t want to provoke him more than before. He was attacking another passenger. , That’s why he was kicked out”, he was heard informing the plane’s captain.

The delay will not result in financial compensation for those flying with Jet Blue because, according to the airline, it is due to events beyond the company’s control and is not eligible for compensation or reimbursement of expenses.

Finally, the passengers from the flight landed in Boston at 4:30 a.m. on Friday.
