Here are the cities where it’s more expensive in 2024
Home insurance is far from aligned at the same price across regions and departments in France. It varies, in fact, from one city to another, but also according to the nature of the risk (climate risks, acts of dissent, etc.).

The study was based on an analysis of 100,000 contracts with insurance companies. Burgundy Franche-Comté at 92.47 euros, Hauts-de-France at 97.44 euros, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes at 99.99 euros, Occitanie at 107.73 euros and Provence-Alpes’ Comté the most expensive region after Ile-de-France, with 118.08 euros per year.
Paris the most expensive, Brest the least expensive
