“I have to give Hayley credit for the B idea,” says Jeweler. “She shared her vision of Bubble Letter with me; Then I imagined it as a birthday balloon.
Alex said the most difficult part of making the gold pendant, about 4cm high, which hung from a 40cm gold chain, was setting the diamond. “If you look closely at the piece, you can see diamonds inside the rounded parts,” says Alex. “Setting a diamond on a curve is a real challenge.”
What we don’t see on this piece of jewelry is a pendant bail. Generally, the bail is placed on the jewelry piece. The necklace chain slides into the opening and connects the two items. Here, Alex hid the clip behind the B on Haley’s jewelry, so the letter had clean lines. Once the B was complete, Alex took the spirit of the balloon letters and designed a diamond J ring for Haley. By its nature, the J ring is less revealing than the B pendant, but Hayley wears it often. It can be seen in some of Hailey’s recent Tiktoks while taking selfies and applying the Rode Lip Treatment.
Needless to say, Hailey was delighted with Alex Moss’ first outfit. Besides the fact that she wears it all the time, the proof is that she returned to the jeweler to collaborate on a surprise gift for her fifth wedding anniversary with Justin.
Once again, she wanted a piece of jewelry in the shape of a bubble. While they considered creating other initials, they eventually settled on a set of diamond and gemstone-studded mushroom pendants with five round gems on the caps, symbolizing the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary. Why mushrooms? Haley didn’t say that.
Traditionally, mushrooms symbolize a whole range of things, including good luck charms. This thought certainly played a role in Haley’s decision.
On the other hand, the look of the jewelry also matches its style. The pastel colors of the yellow and blue diamonds that cover the two mushroom caps echo the pastel colors that Justin often wears, such as the pink cap and yellow fangs he wears in meme photos.
