GTA 6 is expected to bring back a controversial franchise feature

Along with rumors of what fans can expect to see next Grand Theft Auto VI Dizziness, Some players have expressed that they would like to see the somewhat controversial feature return.

We are a little over a year away from the release of Grand Theft Auto VI And after a 10-year wait, it’s no wonder fans are eager to dive into the new and improved Vice City with new protagonists, Lucia and Jason.

With more than a year to wait until its release, fans have been spending time speculating about what features we might see in Rockstar’s next entry, and it looks like one controversial feature might actually make a return.

Grand Theft Auto III And Grand Theft Auto IV Saw the introduction of locked map regions that prevented players from unlocking certain areas until certain parts of the story were completed. However Grand Theft Auto v got rid of this feature and instead chose to keep certain parts of the map opaque rather than completely locked. It seems that some players were actually fans of the original feature and wanted to see it Grand Theft Auto VI.

This trait would also make sense from a story perspective, as Lucia’s official art sees her wearing anklets. The assistant prevents newly released convicts from straying too far from their fixed address, this may mean that Lucia cannot travel to certain areas of the map.

“I know this sounds contradictory, but personally I would love to see this come back,” one fan wrote. “My fondest memories in Vice City and San Andreas were completing the story so I could unlock new islands and discover new vehicles. Despite the apparent restriction, once unlocked, large maps offer a sense of freedom and game progression like no other. This feature, for me, helped define the identity of the classic GTA games.

“Do I want to be alone GTA VI To bring back other parts of the map that are locked until you progress through the story and unlock them like in previous GTA games? reads another Reddit post. “I liked the feeling of not knowing when you were going to unlock other parts, and when you did unlock it, it felt like such an accomplishment and you got to explore a different part of the map that you’d never been before. . . which was fun.

It remains to be seen if Rockstar will reintroduce this feature Grand Theft Auto VI But still it will be interesting to see.
